Discovery Senior Living is hiring a Compliance Anaylst to join our home office team in Bonita Springs, FL. 

Discovery Senior Living is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Compliance Analyst to support its enterprise-wide Compliance Program. This role is vital to ensuring ongoing compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations across the organization’s diverse portfolio, which includes assisted living communities, independent living communities, memory care, home health services, and outpatient rehabilitation programs. The Compliance Analyst will assist in regulatory monitoring, policy development, audits, investigations, training, and risk assessments to promote a culture of ethical conduct, accountability, and continuous compliance improvement throughout the organization’s national operations.

Responsibilities:

Support the compliance department’s efforts to monitor and enforce a broad range of laws, rules, and regulations applicable to all business lines, including HIPAA, HITECH, False Claims Act, Anti-Kickback Statue, Physician Self-Referral Law, CMS requirements, OIG guidance, and state-specific regulations governing senior living, home health, and outpatient rehabilitation services.

• Analyze regulatory updates and assist in implementing responsive policy and procedural modifications.

• Execute compliance audits, monitors, and operational reviews across all service lines.

• Document audit findings and collaborate with leadership on corrective action plans.

• Support enterprise-wide compliance risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.

• Assist with the design, implementation, and delivery of compliance training programs.

• Maintain training documentation and monitor completion across departments.

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of compliance-related policies and procedures.

• Assist with internal investigations into regulatory violations or ethical concerns.

• Serve as a liaison with departments such as clinical, operations, HR, marketing, and finance.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Business Administration, Public Health, Criminal Justice, Health Law, Paralegal Studies, Compliance, Nursing, Human Resources, Analytics, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in healthcare compliance, privacy and security, regulatory affairs, healthcare auditing, denial management, or related roles preferred.
  • Experience in senior care services (e.g., independent living, assisted living, memory care, hospice, home health, rehabilitation) strongly preferred.

Certifications (One or more preferred)

  • Certifications:  (One or more preferred)
  • Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC)
  • Certified Professional Compliance Officer (CPCO)
  • Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP)
  • Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ)
  • Home Care Coding Specialist—Diagnosis (HCS-D)
