Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders
- Provide speech therapy services to patients in their homes, including instruction on exercises and techniques to improve communication and swallow function
- Regularly monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed - Communicate and collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals involved in patient care
- Educate patients and families on exercises, techniques and strategies to manage symptoms and improve communication and swallow function
- Provide education and training to other healthcare professionals and caregivers on speech-language pathology interventions and strategies
Qualifications:
- Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in home health or a related field
- Strong knowledge of speech therapy techniques and interventions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
